USGS Update 2006-Dec-12 09:39
Potential ash hazards: Wind forecasts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), coupled with eruption models, show that any ash clouds rising above the crater rim today would drift east-northeastward early in the day and eastward to east-southeastward later.
Recent observations: The volcano remains shrouded in clouds. Data from seismic and deformation instruments show no change from recent trends suggesting that slow extrusion of lava continues.
