USGS Update 2006-Apr-10 09:50
Potential ash hazards: Wind forecasts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), coupled with eruption models, show that any ash clouds that rise above the crater rim today would drift to the east during the morning, shifting to the north in the afternoon.
Recent observations:The volcano is obscured by clouds this morning. The steam plume visible late Sunday afternoon reflected local meteorological conditions and not a change in volcanic activity.
